Kirill Volgin, former CEO of StepApp, is leading the launch of Pixelverse, a new quest-based battler game set to debut on Raiser.co. Scheduled for an alpha release in April alongside the platform’s second launch, Pixelverse offers players the chance to explore the gritty streets of Xenon, engage in story-driven missions and PvE combat, collect valuable NFT items, and train their own “bots” to battle other players in the arena within a vibrant cyberpunk environment.
In Pixelverse, players assume the role of freelancers in Xenon, aiming to gather rare resources to craft bots, which can then be upgraded and combined to create powerful fighters for arena battles. To ensure cost-effective transactions and seamless integrations with third-party companies using the SDK, freelancers, bots, and in-game items are stored on-chain as NFTs using Pixelchain and the Pixelverse SDK.
Players can also participate in Pixelverse’s innovative “Risk to Earn” mechanism, where they stake tokens on themselves to compete for rewards, with the winner taking home all the spoils.
Led by CEO and founder Kirill Volgin, Pixelverse is poised to make a significant impact on Web3 Gaming, building on his success with StepApp, which generated a remarkable $3.85 billion in volume within just two weeks. Speaking about the upcoming launch on Raiser, Kirill expressed excitement about the new challenge and the team’s goal to create an engaging game accessible to both Web3 users and traditional gamers.
Joining Kirill on the team as CMO is Mahamadou Cissé, former strategy director at Ethereum unicorn Cross The Ages. With Mahamadou’s expertise, Cross The Ages successfully closed deals with major publisher Ubisoft, sold over 30 million digital trading cards, and secured backing from 60 venture capital firms.
